Presley the Great Dane might be 13 stone and a whopping six-foot tall, but owner Sian Barrett says he’s terrified of everything — from other animals to plastic bags.
According to Sian, Presley will run for his comfort blanket whenever he gets a fright.
She told the Daily Mail” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>Daily Mail: “He is definitely a real-life Scooby Doo. He’s always getting scared off by smaller dogs… I have to hide plastic bags because he’s afraid of them.”
“Recently I was walking Presley in the park and he got scared off by a West Highland terrier, which is tiny compared to him. Presley wouldn’t come back until the other dog had gone.”
“His temper doesn’t match his size at all — he’s 38 inches at the shoulder but scared of everything.”
But Sian thinks that Presley’s affectionate nature always wins people over — even when her husband calls him a “wuss”.
This gentle giant of a dog has been known to comfort bawling children by offering an enormous paw to cry on.
Don’t worry, Presley, you might not be brave but you sound adorably lovable to us.
