The president’s fitness and health have been confirmed by a White House physician.
Recently, there has been speculation about the health of the 78-year-old President Trump after some noticed bruising on his hands.
“Scrolling Getty and couldn’t help but notice this photo of a huge bruise on Trump’s hand today,” a Twitter user observed last month.
Another individual at that time questioned: “Trump has a massive bruise on the back of his right hand. How did he get that?”
These concerns coincided with the president’s annual physical examination conducted on Friday (April 11), and the results of his medical report have been made public.
White House physician Sean Barbabella, in his report, stated that Trump is in ‘good health’ and ‘fully fit to execute the duties of Commander-in-Chief’.
Barbabella detailed: “President Trump remains in excellent health, exhibiting robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function.”
“His active lifestyle continues to contribute significantly to his well-being,” Barbabella added.
“President Trump’s days include participation in multiple meetings, public appearances, press availability, and frequent victories in golf events.”

Additionally, Barbabella noted a weight loss of 20 pounds since Trump’s last presidential physical in 2020.
Trump also underwent cognitive testing during his examinations on Friday, boasting about his perfect score.
“I don’t know what to tell you other than I got every answer right,” he informed reporters on Air Force One, as per MSNBC.
When probed for more details about the test, Trump said: “I think it’s a pretty well-known test. Whatever it is, I got every one — I got it all right.”
The entire examination reportedly lasted five hours at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
The president reflected on his results: “Overall, I felt I was in very good shape. A good heart, a good soul — a very good soul.”
Trump holds the record as the oldest president sworn into office. However, during the 2024 election, concerns shifted to Joe Biden, who was then 82.
Eventually, Biden stepped down from the race, passing the opportunity to his 60-year-old vice president, Kamala Harris.
Though Trump emerged victorious, NPR noted that the previous year’s election was ‘the second-closest since 1968’.
