Kansas City Chiefs star Kelce attended the event in San Francisco, but his partner Taylor Swift was notably absent.
Kelce was spotted entering Levi’s Stadium, making Swift’s absence even more noticeable, especially considering her presence at previous Super Bowls.
The reason for Swift’s absence was straightforward: her fiancé Kelce was not participating in the Super Bowl due to injuries that sidelined him this season.
Furthermore, Kelce’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs, did not qualify for the Super Bowl, even if he had been in playing condition.
Despite Swift’s absence, Kelce honored her during a Thursday (February 5) party in San Francisco.
At 36, Kelce took to the DJ booth at an event hosted by Loud Luxury’s Andrew Fedyk and Joe De Pace.
Unsurprisingly, Kelce played one of Swift’s songs, The Fate of Ophelia, from her The Life of a Showgirl album, much to the delight of attendees.
Page Six noted that Kelce displayed a broad smile as a remix of Rihanna’s We Found Love intertwined with Swift’s You Belong With Me filled the room.
After his DJ stint, Kelce was seen mingling with other celebrities at the pre-Super Bowl bash.
The event reportedly included attendees such as LaPaglia, Claire Kittle, Billy Haire, Kristin, Naomie Olindo, and Kyle Juszczyk.
Last August, Swift and Kelce announced their engagement after a few years of dating.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” Swift wrote in a joyful Instagram post.
The post featured images of Swift sporting a large diamond ring, alongside a photo of the couple embracing to celebrate their engagement.
