Law Roach says Zendaya and Tom Holland won’t plan a second public wedding, telling Complex at the July 27 Los Angeles premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, “I don’t think so. I think that people should congratulate them. It’s two young, beautiful, successful people that are in love, and they had a private wedding, and they got away with it.”
The speculation about a second, more public wedding arose after Zendaya and Tom Holland’s private nuptials.
The Spider-Man co-stars recently tied the knot in a secret ceremony after at least five years of dating, with a “massive” celebration party planned at Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire.
Months after Law Roach hinted that Zendaya and Tom Holland had privately tied the knot, Holland officially confirmed their wedding has indeed already happened.
Tom did confirm he and Zendaya got married.
Speaking on the red carpet at the 2026 SAG Actor Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, Roach told Access Hollywood that “the wedding has already happened.”
“You missed it,” said Roach, who has been working with Zendaya for more than a decade.
On February 18, during her night out with Josh Lieberman, Zendaya was seen wearing a different ring and was photographed in Beverly Hills wearing what seems to be a golden wedding band.
The Emmy winner began wearing a gold band with her engagement ring in February 2026.
While discussing AI-generated photos that circulated online showing a fake ceremony between the Marvel stars in Lake Como, Holland revealed to Esquire that his grandmother worried she hadn’t been invited to the wedding.
Holland said, after a lengthy pause, “No, because they were all there.”
But while fans will likely forever clamor for more information, the 30-year-old was firm in keeping the details private, saying, “That’s all you’ll get on that.”
Zendaya told The New York Times, “Well, I just feel like, for me, there is a level of a parasocial investment in my personal relationship, which I understand, and I am aware that I’m a public person, and so is he, and I’m also aware that we’ve grown up in front of people, and we’ve done movies where we fall in love with each other. I really do understand that, and I don’t want to dismiss that like ‘stay out of my business’ but in a lot of ways, I also am a very private person, and I try my best to be able to have things for myself and for him as well.”
Zendaya’s mom Claire Stoermer reposted the clip of Roach on her Instagram Stories on Monday, March 2, captioning it “The laugh…” with a laughing emoji, in a video filmed on the red carpet at the 2026 Actor Awards on Sunday, March 1, where the actress’ longtime stylist said, “The wedding has already happened,” teasing, “You missed it.”
During a rapid-fire segment on the U.K.’s Dish podcast, Holland casually called his co-star his wife, responding to a question about whom he would go on holiday to Greece with: “I think probably my wife would be pretty good.” He joked, “It would be a bit strange if I went, ‘Sorry babe, I’m gonna take Matt [Damon, Holland and Zendaya’s Odyssey costar] actually.”

Zendaya was spotted in Beverly Hills wearing a gold band in place of her engagement ring, with the “Euphoria” star seen wearing what seems to be a golden wedding band on February 18 during her night out with Josh Lieberman.
Things reached a fever pitch in March, when the band returned during her appearance at Paris Fashion Week and the Academy Awards, where she paired the band with her east-west sparkler for a minimalist bridal ring stack moment.
Zendaya and Holland, who are both 29, met in 2017 while filming “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” and their chemistry on the film’s press tour led to speculation that they were romantically involved.
The two first acknowledged their relationship in 2021 and reportedly got engaged in December 2024.
Zendaya offered her words of wisdom for couples planning their wedding during an interview with Entertainment Weekly at the Los Angeles premiere of The Drama, saying, “Make sure you have all the conversations before you get married. Make sure you have a wedding DJ because that also causes a lot of drama. Just have a beautiful day. It’s really about you two.”
Asked about wedding dos and don’ts, she was against the idea of the bride and groom smashing cake on each other’s faces, telling Betches, “That’s a big no. Isn’t that like the No. 1 thing that people are going to get divorced? Don’t put cake in my face.”

The Spider-Man: Brand New Day co-stars married in an intimate, secret ceremony earlier this year and are now planning on going all out to celebrate their nuptials at Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire, with hundreds set to attend, with a source telling the Mail on Sunday: “‘It’s going to be massive. They were perusing the grounds recently, pointing out where they wanted the grand piano and other tents. It’s going to be epic.”
However, the couple’s planning hit a problem when someone at the castle was bitten by a tick while out in the grounds, with the insider saying: “Someone connected to the castle recently picked up a tick from the long grass in part of the grounds. Ticks can transmit Lyme disease.”
Despite health concerns, the couple is moving forward with the celebrations and have instructed guests to avoid the grassy section of the castle grounds where the tick bite occurred.
