As every child knows, transitioning from a crib to a “big kid” bed is a big deal. Enter California dad Eric Strong, who wanted to give his son the “most awesome bed ever” to make that transition a bit easier.
Because awesome beds are so expensive, Strong decided to build one using IKEA furniture parts, repurposed and combined. The result — a bed complete with slide and secret room — is nothing short of epic. But that’s not all.
