A 75-year-old man arrested in Waco, Texas on public lewdness charges claimed to police that he has a penile implant and therefore couldn’t have had intercourse with his 32-year-old companion at a public swimming pool in front of children, according to arrest documents.
Emilie Parma, 32, and Douglas Faith, 75, are both charged with public lewdness after officers were dispatched to The Central Texas Marketplace apartment complex at 5210 Bagby Avenue on July 26 to investigate reported indecent exposure.
Multiple witnesses called 911 after their children were uncomfortable because Parma and Faith were engaging in sexual intercourse.
The couple’s conduct was witnessed by more than eight people, all of whom provided consistent accounts.
Waco police officers interviewed more than eight people and they all described that Parma and Faith were in the back left corner of the pool, where Parma was allegedly on top of Faith “grinding and thrusting” and making loud sexual moans.
When questioned by police about his actions in the pool, Faith made an unusual claim about his body.
Faith did not stop at that denial.
Faith further insinuated they were not having sexual intercourse, but there was sexual contact.
The incident left parents and children at the apartment complex pool deeply uncomfortable. Neighbors witnessed the behavior and immediately contacted authorities rather than confront the couple directly. The timing—approximately 4:55 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon—meant the pool was crowded with families. Lifeguards, staff, and multiple residents all observed the same conduct and corroborated witness statements to police.
Both suspects faced the same charge.
They were both arrested and booked into the McLennan County Jail.
When officers searched Faith after his arrest, they discovered additional contraband on his person.
Upon search after arrest, Faith was in possession of two joints of marijuana.
