Woman Resuscitated After Stroke Shares Her Vision of the Afterlife

A woman who experienced a near-death event after suffering two strokes in December 2021 has shared her vivid recollections of the experience.

Amber Cavanagh, a psychic medium based in Canada, encountered these strokes at the age of 40.

Medical professionals informed her family to ‘come and say goodbye,’ as her chances of surviving the helicopter transfer to a hospital for further treatment seemed slim.

“I was very, very near to death, and even my kids had to come and say goodbye,” Amber recalled in an interview earlier this year. “It’s like you’re trapped. I could understand everything everyone was saying, but I couldn’t speak.”

During her critical condition, Amber recounted to ‘The Other Side NDE’ YouTube channel that she envisioned a ‘beautiful garden’ in the afterlife.

She described, “I could see my husband, I could see my body, but I didn’t have a lot of attachment to my body. It was like I closed my eyes and opened them in this beautiful garden.”

Amber elaborated on the surreal sensations, “The grass and the water was like nothing I have ever felt in my life. I think I wasted more time feeling my feet in the grass than actually making this decision to come back.”

She understood she had to make a choice there, one that no one else could decide for her.

Amber also mentioned a ‘glow’ from the ‘light of god,’ noting she wasn’t alone during her near-death experience. “My guides, who I had gotten to know very well were there on a bench,” she explained.

At 44, she stated that her husband and children were also present, though she did not converse with them.

Amber continued, “I saw a couple of my animals that had passed, and I saw one that hadn’t passed. But she would pass before I got out of the hospital.”

Her mother-in-law appeared to her as well, before her guides presented her with the decision to stay or return to her life on Earth.

Describing her eventual choice, Amber shared: “I finally made the decision that I want to come back. And as just as quick as I went there,” she remarked about the serene ‘meeting place’, “I wasn’t there.”

Amber remained in the hospital for several weeks following her ordeal, and medical experts initially believed she would require lifelong care.

Despite these predictions, Amber, now referred to as the ‘miracle patient,’ not only survived but has made a significant recovery.
