While it can be frustrating when people frequently mix up your names, the ability to occasionally switch places with your twin can be quite beneficial.
For TikToker Ari Chance, the opportunity to take a break from work with her twin standing in for her was particularly useful, especially after her holiday request was turned down by her employer.
Normally, when a vacation request is denied, it simply means no time off.
However, with an identical twin at her disposal, Ari supposedly devised a clever scheme.
Sadly for Ari, a critical error led to her and her twin, Noe, getting caught in the act.
As explained in their TikTok video, Noe filled in for Ari at work while she was on vacation to keep her boss from realizing that she’d disregarded his denial.
Noe was seen in a video where she appeared to be driving to Ari’s workplace, accompanied by a caption that stated: “Me replacing my twin at work while she’s on a trip because her leave request got denied.”

The video received praise from viewers, with one commenting: “Yes we all should have a doppelgänger for these purposes.”
Other TikTok users were eager for an update, but unfortunately, the plan didn’t go off without a hitch.
It turns out that bosses can also be on TikTok, and Ari’s boss ended up watching the video, which understandably did not sit well with them.
In a follow-up, Ari posted another video with the caption: “My boss saw the video my twin posted while covering for me at work.”
“WE MESSED UP,” the twins remarked in the clip.
The video showed Ari with her hand covering her face before transitioning to what appeared to be an email from her boss criticizing her ‘unacceptable behaviour’.
The email characterized Ari and Noe’s actions as a ‘slap in the face’ to her coworkers and the organization, stating: “Your actions not only reflect poorly on yourself but also tarnish the reputation of our company. This level of disregard for protocol and decorum is frankly shocking and will not be tolerated.”
Ari was also cautioned that ‘any further instances of misconduct will result in serious consequences, including potential disciplinary action’.
Fans were surprised by the update, and while some questioned the authenticity of the email, others were struck by the language allegedly used by the boss.
“Disappointed regards is my new favorite signature,” one person remarked on the boss’ sign-off.
Another addressed Ari, writing: “I NEED to know what your response to this is because WHAT.”
