‘World’s most beautiful girl’ reveals reasons for eventually dismissing the title

Thylane Blondeau, often referred to as the ‘most beautiful girl in the world’, opened up about her feelings regarding a title she received at an early age.

Over 20 years ago, Blondeau, now 24, was first noticed by a Jean Paul Gaultier scout when she was merely three. At the time, she was strolling through Paris, France, with her mother, Véronika Loubry, who is a TV host and designer.

Her mother was approached about the possibility of Blondeau modeling for Gaultier at an upcoming event. She agreed, setting Blondeau on a path that would significantly alter her life.

Quickly, Blondeau was labeled as ‘the most beautiful girl in the world’. By age 10, she had modeled for Vogue Paris and by 15, she was walking the red carpet at Cannes.

Despite the widespread acclaim, Blondeau considers herself just a regular person.

In a 2018 interview with The Telegraph when she was 17, she discussed the title, saying: “When you’re small, you don’t really pay attention. People are like, ‘you know, you’re the most beautiful girl in the world,’ and you’re like, ‘I’m not, I’m just playing with my iPad.'”

She continued: “Even today, people are like, ‘you are the most beautiful girl,’ and I’m like, ‘no, I’m still not, I’m just a human being, a teenager.'”

During the interview, she also talked about launching her clothing line, Heaven May. Since then, Blondeau has introduced her beauty brand, ENALYHT, which offers haircare products priced between €22 and €105.

Having been in the public eye from a young age, there has been ongoing curiosity about Blondeau’s current appearance, including speculation about cosmetic enhancements.

However, the 24-year-old has firmly stated that she’s never undergone any surgery.

Responding to comments about her lips last year, she addressed her followers on Instagram: “Tired of these kinds of comments. I know that this generation of people tend to do things very early, but I’ve never touched anything.”

She further explained: “You can look at photos of me when I was younger, nothing has changed. […] Just because I wear make up or use a lip liner doesn’t mean I’ve had my lips or face done.”
