The YouTube community is mourning the loss of a beloved content creator, ‘Adam the Woo,’ who was discovered deceased in his residence.
On December 22nd, David Adam Williams, better known to his audience as ‘Adam the Woo,’ was found lifeless at his Celebration, Florida home. He was 51 years of age at the time of his passing.
Confirmation of this unfortunate event was made by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. They informed PEOPLE that a friend discovered Williams unresponsive when they checked on his apartment.
The authorities released a statement noting: “The residence was secured, and no contact was made with the adult male residing there.
“Deputies then responded back to the location for an unattended death at 2:53 pm.
“A friend had borrowed a ladder and looked in the 3rd story window to see a male on a bed that was not moving. Upon entering the residence with Fire Rescue, the male was reported deceased.”

The sheriff’s office has confirmed that Williams’ father has been informed of his death.
Although the cause of death is still unknown, the authorities have mentioned that a medical examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the specifics, as investigations continue.
Williams gained widespread recognition on YouTube with over 745,000 followers, primarily for his explorations of theme parks, deserted cities, historic sites, and Disney parks, capturing these adventures on his channel.
Rising to fame with his ‘Daily Woo’ channel in 2012, Williams consistently uploaded a video each day for five years while exploring all 50 states.
In his final video, uploaded on December 21, Williams showcased his festive yard decorations, including his ‘porch Grinch,’ and shared footage of the holiday spirit in downtown Celebration.
Following the announcement of his passing, tributes have poured in, including a heartfelt message from fellow YouTuber Justin Scarred.
“This breaks my heart and I want to say nothing right now,” Scarred posted on Facebook. “I don’t have the right photo or the right words. But with all the rumors, I feel I need to say what I can. The world has lost a giant, and I have lost a friend closer to me than blood.”

He added: “Adam and I talked about this day so many times. I wish the world could have known the soft and generous heart behind the screen, the laughter and the tears ‘backstage’.
“He was a wonderful person, a true friend to me whenever I needed him, and I genuinely don’t know what to do without him.”
Justin also mentioned that Williams was ‘preparing for another year of adventures,’ describing him as ‘unique’ and ‘irreplaceable.’
“I love you Adam. I’m devastated and lost – but you have done more for me than I can ever repay you for. I will never forget you; you’ve done your duty, and gone home to Schleep Well. I will see you again my friend,” he concluded.
Another friend, Chris Yon, expressed his shock on Instagram: “I can’t believe I’m typing this…..I’m absolutely devastated to hear of the sudden passing of my good friend Adam The Woo.
“I just visited him four days ago in Celebration Florida. We rode around town in his golf cart checking out the decorations, talking about his recent international travel, his excitement for upcoming plans on his YouTube channel, and even a Rays game Adam and I were talking about going to next year. I truly don’t know what to say. I’m in complete shock. RIP David Adam Williams.”
