YouTuber Jack Doherty has found himself in legal trouble in Miami following a controversial incident involving ‘humiliating’ wedding vows.
The 22-year-old was taken into custody on Saturday, November 15, after authorities discovered a ‘half of an orange oval-shaped pill with 3 imprinted on it consistent with a Schedule II amphetamine’, along with three ‘suspected cannabis cigarettes’ during a search.
Public records indicate that Doherty’s bond was set at $3,500, which has since been paid.
Following his arrest, the social media personality was transported to Miami-Dade County jail.
This development follows an earlier prank Doherty pulled on OnlyFans model McKinley Richardson during their wedding ceremony in Las Vegas, which he broadcasted live online.

During the ceremony, Doherty presented a pre-nuptial agreement, stating that Richardson ‘gets absolutely nothing when I divorce her, even if I cheat’.
“If she cheats, she automatically owes me $10 million. I’ll also receive 100 per cent of her OF revenue moving forward, even if we divorce,” Doherty stated.
The ceremony was not legally binding, allowing Richardson a way out of the situation.
In true influencer style, Doherty shared details of his arrest with his 28 million followers across various social media platforms.
He posted on Instagram, claiming he was ‘free’ and mentioning an upcoming NBC interview, while joking about his jail experience: “Party outside of the jail cell, let’s get it.”
The YouTuber also shared news stories related to his arrest.
Doherty recorded interactions with the acquaintances he made while in custody, asking them: “How was I like in jail? Was I running that s*** or what?”
Additionally, Doherty requested that fans ‘download all of the news clips’ concerning his arrest and send them to him. He posted his official mugshot with the caption ‘First day out’.
LADbible Group has previously contacted the Miami Police Department for a statement.
This incident follows another viral moment last year when Doherty crashed his $200,000 McLaren during a live stream.
The footage appeared to show Doherty distracted by his phone while driving the supercar, resulting in a skid on the wet road and a collision with a barrier.
Despite the accident, Doherty continued to film and expressed frustration about the damage to his custom-designed McLaren 570S. He even asked his injured friend to continue recording.
The social media star faced significant backlash after this live stream incident.
