Zendaya’s mom reacts to claim her daughter ‘secretly’ married Tom Holland

Speculation that Zendaya and Tom Holland may have quietly married has been swirling for weeks, and remarks from two people in their inner circle are now adding fresh fuel to the theory.

The latest talking point came after Zendaya’s longtime friend and stylist, Law Roach, spoke to an Entertainment Weekly reporter on the 2026 Actor Awards red carpet — and then Zendaya’s mother, Claire Stoermer, appeared to weigh in with a subtle reaction of her own.

Roach was asked the question: “You and Zendaya have the relationship that every stylist and celebrity would love to have, we know she’s gonna get married, are we thinking about the looks already for the wedding?”

His answer instantly set social media alight, as he told the reporter that ‘the wedding has already happened. You missed it,’ then laughed — leaving fans unsure whether he was joking or letting something slip.

The reporter then pressed Roach about the growing list of “clues” fans believe point to a secret ceremony, including claims that the Challengers star had been spotted wearing what appeared to be a wedding band.

Roach doubled down with a casual, clipped reply: ‘The wedding is over, sorry.’

Zendaya and Holland, both 29, have generally kept their relationship away from public scrutiny. But the marriage rumors gained traction last month after photos showed Zendaya without her engagement ring — and with a plain gold band in its place.

As the ring chatter and Roach’s comments sent fans into full detective mode, Stoermer — a former teacher who divorced Zendaya’s father, Kazembe Ajamu Coleman, in 2016 following eight years of marriage — added another layer by posting a cryptic Instagram Stories reaction, as spotted by People.

She reshared a clip of Roach’s playful interview and wrote ‘The laugh…’ — adding her own laughing emoji — which many took as a knowing nod rather than a denial.

It still falls short of official confirmation, especially as both Zendaya and Holland rarely discuss their relationship publicly. Even so, some followers believe Stoermer’s post is the closest anyone has come to a hint that the pair could already be married.

Holland has previously told The Hollywood Reporter: “Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible.

“We don’t think that we owe it to anyone, it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.”

Zendaya has echoed that desire for privacy as well, saying: “The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own.”
