BFFs Laura the piglet and Marina the kitten are no exception. While they are obviously very different, they have a lot more in common than first meets the eye.
While little kitty Marina was found abandoned on the streets and close to dying, piglet Laura was living in factory farm.
Neglected and unloved, they both found their way to the Chilean animal sanctuary Santuario Igualdad Interespecie where they found each other.
The pair instantly became best friends.
“Since her arrival, Laura has been treated with the love and care a baby deserves, and has developed a deep friendship with Marina the kitten…”
“… showing by example, that when it comes to relations of friendship and respect, belonging to different species doesn’t matter,” says the shelter.
Laura and Marina spend their time as all animals should: eating, playing, cuddling, and sleeping (together of course).
