The cause of death for Eva Evans has been confirmed after her untimely demise at the age of 29.
Eva Evans was an influencer based in New York City, widely recognized for her roles in directing and acting in the Amazon Prime TV miniseries Club Rat.
She had a robust following on social media, amassing over 300,000 followers on TikTok.
Authorities have now confirmed the cause of her death.
Evans was not only a co-writer but also the director and lead actress in Club Rat.
This five-episode series on streaming platforms chronicles the story of Eva as she navigates the challenging New York City dating scene after her breakup video becomes viral.
Evans had partnerships with prominent brands such as Dior, Gucci, Nike, and Apple.
She had also collaborated with celebrities including Miley Cyrus and Julia Fox.
Eva’s sister Lila shared the news of her passing, stating: “Please share this post so that it reaches everyone it needs to.
“Yesterday my family received news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, caring, hilarious Eva, my beautiful sister, has died.
“After 24 hours, I still find myself in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so I know how unbelievable and hard to process this news will be.”
She added: “We will be holding a celebration of Eva this coming Tuesday, 4/23, in the evening in lower Manhattan. Please DM me so I can get a headcount and will share the details.
“I wish I had Eva here now to refer to because she would have better words and know how to say what I don’t.
“I am keeping this brief, so we can plan for the next few days, but you’ll be hearing a lot more from me on how much Eva means to me and just how different the world will be without her.”
The heartfelt post concluded: “All my love, Lila.”
Social media users have expressed their tributes on Evans’ final Instagram post, where she appears on the NYC subway.
“I’m in shock. She was a beautiful, kind, hilarious, sharp, witty, smart, funny, bright light,” wrote one person.

The cause of her death was confirmed by authorities.
Eva was discovered deceased in her apartment on Saturday evening by a friend who had a key, according to law enforcement sources as reported by TMZ.
The friend indicated to police that they were unaware of any mental health struggles Evans might have been experiencing.
Upon their arrival, paramedics declared her dead at the scene.
Sources tell TMZ that there were no signs of unusual injuries or a struggle, and a note was reportedly left by Evans.
While it appears Evans may have taken her own life, an official toxicology report is awaited.
Eva’s father, Matt Baumgardner, also died by suicide in 2018, a fact she shared in an intimate narrative with Don’t Mind Me.
