Salem is a black cat who lives with his human, Amanda Barron, in Pittsburgh, US. Salem LOVES rolling around in the bathtub, and Amanda LOVES glittery bath bombs. See where this is going?
Amanda recently discovered a brand new bath bomb that’s fabulously glittery (okay, messy), and before she had a chance to rinse out the tub after her sparkly bath, Salem was in there.
Behold: Glitter Cat!!
He looks SO fabulous and a little bit magic.
“He loves the tub,” laughs Amanda, “I don’t know why. He just loves the tub. The tub is magic fun place to him.”
Frankly, we’re tempted to try out this look, because Salem looks FRESH.
He was so happy rolling around in his glittery, bath-y paradise.
Cats around the world are meowing in jealousy.
Sadly, after he left the tub Salem created such a trail of sparkly destruction that Amanda rinsed the tub and gave this fabulous kitty a bath. He didn’t love that.
“He’s fine,” says Amanda, “He yowled at me during his bath and sulked around the apartment looking like his entire day was ruined.”
And Amanda has a word of warning to anyone tempted to recreate glitter cat for themselves: “There is glitter EVERYWHERE. You don’t get rid of glitter. It stays with you forever.”
We guess that’s just the price you pay for being fur-bulous.
