People are flocking to social media in astonishment after a Hooters server shared the amount of money she earned from a four-hour shift.

One server’s earnings in just four hours have left many people amazed and contemplating a career change.
Maia Marie posted on her page – @maiaaamarieee – back in May, inviting her followers to ‘work a bar shift’ with her at Hooters, which began at 4:00pm and ended at 8:00pm.
Upon her arrival, Maia noted that it was ‘really busy,’ requiring her to ‘jump right into action’.
In the video, she introduces one of her regulars who brought her cheesecake, although she didn’t have time to eat it as she had to start making drinks immediately.
Four hours later, her shift concluded, and Maia counted her tips, showcased a sparklingly clean bar, and ended her day walking out with a substantial amount of cash in her hands.
Maia revealed she made an impressive $451 during her four-hour shift.
But how is that feasible given that the average estimated Hooters wage, as reported by Glassdoor, ranges between $12-17 per hour?
In addition to earning about $48-68 in pay, Maia also received nearly $400 in tips.

According to her TikTok, the highest amount she’s earned so far is $298.66 from an 11-5 shift.
