List of ‘least appealing male hobbies’ sparks widespread outrage

A compilation of the ‘least attractive male hobbies’ has recently gone viral on social media, sparking widespread outrage across the internet.

Hobbies are a significant part of what makes an individual unique, there’s no denying that.

Whether it’s sports or gaming, everyone has that one activity that keeps them entertained during their leisure time.

However, it seems that some hobbies are viewed as making men less attractive than others.

The list, which was featured on Fox, includes five hobbies that are said to give some people the ‘ick.’

A snapshot of the list was recently shared on Twitter by the account ‘non aesthetic things,’ with the viral post stating: “We can’t do sh*t these days.”

The hobbies listed are: playing video games, collecting figurines, magic tricks, online trolling, and gambling.

The Twitter post’s comments section has since been flooded with reactions, with many expressing outrage.

“But women can be Karens, do TikTok dances, and make up tutorials, and THATS attractive? TF?!!!” one person wrote.

“Legit nailed my five favourite things,” another joked, while a third added: “Collecting, trolling, and gambling are all a part of this hobby so not sure we’re safe boys.”

A fourth person quipped: “Is this from 1998? Everyone plays video games nowadays no way this is true.”

Last month, American right-wing commentator Liz Wheeler shared her views on the most unattractive hobby a man can have.

In a Twitter post, Wheeler showcased a picture indicating ‘the least attractive hobbies for men according to women.’

The graph displayed that playing video games scored 90 percent unattractiveness, collecting figurines 85 percent, magic tricks 80 percent, and online trolling 75 percent.

“This is 100% true. Men playing video games is peak unattractive. Beyond red flag. Like dealbreaker zone. It’s weird that so many dudes don’t get this,” Wheeler captioned the image.

A community note quickly appeared on the Twitter post, stating: “There is no source provided for the reported finding, and the percentages are rounded evenly to the nearest multiple of 5, which is implausible.

“The origin of this image is from a TikToker making a joke post about them being birdwatchers.”

The post proved to be highly divisive online, resulting in Wheeler receiving severe backlash for her remarks.
