Rosie the kitten was just 3 weeks old when she was found near the brink of death by a trio of sisters: Thi Bui, Thoa Bui, and Tram Bui.

Luckily, the sisters rescued the little kitty from the streets, but she was very weak and it wasn’t clear she would survive. That’s when a very special husky stepped in to save the day.
“She almost did not make it through the first night, even with round the clock care. She was lethargic and limp. So we decided to go out on a limb and let her cuddle extensively with Lilo. By some miracle, she started suckling on Lilo and Lilo went full mom mode,” the sisters wrote on Instagram.
It wasn’t long before the tiny cat started to see Lilo the husky as her mother, and Lilo seemed to feel the same way.
Lilo’s motherly instincts really kicked in. She even started grooming Rosie.
The pair became inseparable.
Soon, Rosie was feeling good enough to meet the rest of the family.

Growing up surrounded by dogs, Rosie has picked up on some canine traits. She’ll happily wear a collar and leash if it means she gets to go out with her mom Lilo.
She even walks on her leash like a proper dog.
At first, the Bui sisters were unsure about keeping Rosie and considered re-homing her after rehabilitation. Luckily, it’s now been decided that Rosie will stay with her doggie mom and the rest of the huskies at the Bui household.
