Meet The Insanely Adorable Orphaned Baby Bats At This Australian Bat Hospital

If you’ve never seen a tiny baby bat swaddled in a tiny baby bat blanket, with a tiny baby bat milk bottle in its mouth, then you need to prepare yourself for these:

 CAN YOU SAY CUTENESS COMA?

These pocket-sized mammals are currently being housed at the Australian Bat Clinic & Wildlife Trauma Centre in eastern Australia’s Gold Coast Hinterland. The veterinary clinic fosters orphaned baby bats, or ‘pups’, whose mothers have died. They also treat adult bats that suffer from mites and other bat diseases.

Australia is home to almost 100 various species of bats, a large number of which live within the region of the Australian Bat Clinic.

Aside from being the cutest accessories, these baby blankets serve as a substitute for the warm embrace of a mother’s wing, and is as close as these orphaned pups can get to the real thing.

If the pictures above still haven’t convinced you of the sheer adorableness of these winged pups, then this video definitely will:
