Paul Walter Hauser slams Vin Diesel for unprofessional behavior and outs actors who ‘mistreat people’

Paul Walter Hauser, who lent his voice to the character of Embarrassment in “Inside Out 2,” displayed a hint of irritation rather than his character’s typical mood in a recent chat with CinemaBlend. The actor was not pleased when an interviewer drew a parallel between his role and Vin Diesel’s portrayal of Groot in “Guardians of the Galaxy,” sparking a somewhat tense exchange.

In the interview, which was later shared on social media platforms, Walter Hauser quickly corrected the comparison: “Please don’t say that. I like to think I’m on time, and approachable,” he stated, distancing himself from Diesel’s reputation. He continued, “Sorry, I love people but when I hear stories about Hollywood actors who get paid really well and mistreat people, I out them constantly and it’s a blast.” Despite the comparison, it appears unlikely that Hauser and Diesel will collaborate anytime soon due to this reaction.

Throughout his career, Vin Diesel has faced several accusations of unprofessional behavior. Notably, he has had well-publicized disagreements with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson after he joined the “Fast and Furious” franchise. Their conflict began during the production of “Fast Five,” where Johnson played DSS agent Luke Hobbs, tasked with pursuing Dom Toretto (played by Diesel) and his team.

Post-filming, rumors of their feud surfaced, eventually leading Johnson to express his frustration on Instagram in a post that has since been deleted. He praised his female co-stars but criticized some of his male counterparts: “My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ’em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand-up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken s**t to do anything about it anyway. Candy a**es.” Johnson’s post concluded with a fiery remark: “When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling—you’re right. #ZeroToleranceForCandyAsses.”

However, the feud between Johnson and Diesel eventually cooled, with Johnson later confirming that they had resolved their differences and he returned to the franchise.
