Travis Kelce shares stern warning he received before meeting Royal Family at Taylor Swift concert

When the worlds of showbiz and royalty collide, it creates moments that are nothing short of spectacular. Such was the case when Prince William, along with his two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, showed up at Taylor Swift’s concert during her UK leg of the Eras Tour. The encounter took place at London’s Wembley Stadium and coincidentally, the selfie that captured this moment was shared on Prince William’s 42nd birthday.

A clip of Prince William ‘dad dancing’ at the concert quickly spread across social media, highlighting the light-hearted fun of the evening. Adding to the excitement, Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce, who had been publicly showcasing their relationship, chose this event to post their first official photo together as a couple on Swift’s Instagram. The Royals were also featured in this memorable snapshot.

Kelce, clearly thrilled about the encounter, later described Prince William as a ‘cool motherf***er’ during an episode of the New Heights podcast, hosted by himself and his brother, Jason Kelce. Travis shared, “We met royalty guys. That’s right, there was royalty at the show. Dude, he was the coolest motherf***er. He was so cool! I didn’t realize this, ’cause obviously we’re backstage meeting him, because he was there with little George and Charlotte, and they were an absolute delight to meet.”

Despite the casual setting, the Kelce brothers were initially unsure how to interact with the royals. Jason elaborated on the guidance they received, “But they said that because we weren’t at like an official royal event, we didn’t need to bow or curtsy. If it would have been like an official meeting of royalty event, then it would have been that.” He added, “But I did still address him as Your Royal Highness. I’ve never felt emasculated. And I did. That was the closest I’ve ever been.”

Jason noted that the true standout of the meeting was Princess Charlotte, whose vibrant personality left a lasting impression. He explained, “The highlight was Princess Charlotte, Prince George was great too, but she was so f***ing adorable. I cannot express how much of a superstar she was. Maybe it’s because I have three girls now, but she had fire to her, she was asking questions, that was the most electric part of it.”

Beyond royal encounters, Kelce also took the time to enjoy the local culture, commenting on the quality of the local beer and the diverse scenery of London. He shared, “The beers, they’re a little bit tastier over here, they’ve been doing it for a little bit longer, it does taste really nice over here. The scenery is awesome, it kind of switches depending on which part of London you’re in, and I like that.”
