110-Year-Old Woman Credits Longevity To Drinking Three Beers Every Day

Meet Agnes Fenton of Englewood, New Jersey. She just turned a grand old 110 years. Obviously she’s a rare breed. So what’s her secret?

Fenton says the key to her long life is three Miller High Life beers and a shot of Johnnie Walker every day, which she’s been drinking for seven decades.

And it seems it’s done her good — Fenton hears and sees well, reads the paper, listens to the radio, and likes to hang out with her friends. She’s never had a serious health problem, bar a benign tumor that happened several decades ago.

She also sleeps a lot and prays. Her favorite foods are chicken wings, green beans, and sweet potatoes. Recently, she’s been eating less, and as a result has (reluctantly) quit drinking on the advice of her caregivers.
