People with Down Syndrome generally have difficulty in speaking. They usually exert twice the effort and energy just to be able to activate their vocal muscles and produce speech.
But young Madison Tevlin, who has Down Syndrome, did not just want to talk. She wanted to sing.
And sing she did. Madison’s cover of John Legend’s “All of me” charmed the pants off the Internet.
In an interview, the 13-year old said that she wanted to sing to inspire other children like her. “I want to inspire. I want them to know they can do it,” she said.
