Young Singer’s New Outlook On Life After Getting (And Beating) Cancer Just Months After Releasing Debut Album

It had only been 3 months since Harry Hudson had released his debut album, until his life suddenly flipped upside down. Doctors had found a tumor the size of a grapefruit in his chest – and the official diagnosis was that he had Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

“It went from the best day to the worst day of my life,” says Hudson. “Everything you’ve worked for, everything you’ve dreamed of is about to come true, and then something unexpected hits you, and you have no idea what’s going on.”

But instead of withdrawing from social media and letting the illness bring him down, Harry did something remarkable: he used his Twitter to spread a message of hope and positivity.

“I had never been to the ER before, never had an IV in my life,” he says. “Then, the doctor comes into my room and says to me, ‘I hate to break it to you, but you have cancer.'”
Three months after this record release, he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

This was to be the start of a journey which would test him to the limit.
But even though when he delivered the news publicly, he was upbeat.

Confident and hopeful, Harry was determined not to let his illness bring him down.
Harry refused to let his diagnosis get him down.
