Pop Star Aaron Carter Dead At 34

Aaron Carter has passed away.

The singer-turned-rapper-turned-actor was discovered dead at his home in Lancaster, California, on Saturday.

According to many accounts, Aaron’s body was discovered in his bathtub. A 911 call was made around 11 a.m., and homicide investigators were called to the site.

Aaron’s fiancé, Melanie Martin says: “My fiancé Aaron Carter has passed away. I love Aaron with all my heart and it’s going to be a journey to raise a son without a father. Please respect the privacy of my family as we come to terms with the loss of someone we love greatly. We are still in the process of accepting this unfortunate reality. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.”

Aaron rose to prominence as a pop singer in the late 1990s, recording four studio albums, beginning with his self-titled first album in 1997, when he was just nine.

After his debut record sold a million copies, Aaron’s second album, “Aaron’s Party,” tripled that amount, and he became a Nickelodeon regular.

Aaron used to tour with the Backstreet Boys back in the day. His older brother, Nick, was a member of the very successful boy band.

AC’s music career expanded into rap, and he also participated on “Dancing With The Stars” and starred in the Broadway show “Seussical.”

Prince, AC’s son, survives him.
