Tamás Tóth was with friends when he happened upon a female dog living in an abandoned suburban backyard with her litter.
The four puppies were cold and severely undernourished, as their mother was very weak.
Tamás and his friends managed to rescue them from the decrepit place just in time.
Luckily for the pups, they had some loving new owners to go home to.
But Tamás and friends decided to keep one puppy.
They named her ‘Vackor’.
And she quickly became very accustomed to her surroundings.
Being a freelance photographer, Tamás made Vackor his muse.
And his travel buddy.
In turn, Vackor made Tamás his scratcher,
And human seat cushion.
Vackor has a very curious personality.
And makes friends wherever she goes.
She knows all the other street dogs by name, and she’s not afraid to tell any of them, though they are twice her size…
…that she is always right.
She may not be the most behaved,
But it only makes her all the more endearing.
Vackor has grown into a happy, healthy little dog, thanks to Tamás.
They say best friends are hard to find…
Tamás knows this firsthand.
Because he found his hiding under a basement.
