It’s been four years since the heartfelt farewell to the quirky Dunphy-Pritchett-Tucker clan on Modern Family, and a recent cast reunion has sparked a range of emotions among fans.

Fans’ hopes were answered, albeit in an unexpected form, when the cast appeared in a commercial for WhatsApp on June 18.
While not a new episode, the 30-second spot was a welcome glimpse for many. The commercial featured Cam excitedly sharing a photo of Hayley’s twins with Phil and Claire, which led to a humorous mishap with Mitchell realizing he’s out of the loop due to his different phone brand.
A solution is humorously proposed by a handyman who suggests using WhatsApp to ensure everyone is included in the group chat.
