Fans vow to never watch Nicki Minaj again after ‘disastrous’ concert in Dublin

Nicki Minaj recently found herself in hot water with fans after a disappointing performance in Dublin. When you snag tickets to see a beloved artist live, you expect them to steal the show, croon your top tunes, and leave a lasting impression. Some might even fantasize about being plucked from the crowd to belt out a song alongside their idol.

However, attendees of Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday 2 World Tour’ at Malahide Castle were left underwhelmed and downright angry. The superstar was reportedly almost two hours late to the stage and performed for less than an hour, sparking a wave of frustration and social media backlash.

Dismayed fans didn’t hold back online, with some declaring they’d never attend her concerts again, labeling the event a ‘disaster’. The discontent began to brew even before Minaj appeared, with one fan pleading on Twitter: “@NICKIMINAJ any chance you could make an appearance on stage in Dublin? 45 mins left till closing?!?!? What a joke,”

Another fan humorously noted her absence, tweeting: “Nicki Minaj ain’t even show up to her own show in Dublin Ireland I’m cracking the f*** up,” alongside an image of the empty stage.

The outrage continued with fans voicing their displeasure distinctly. “I hope people at Nicki Minaj tonight at Dublin will be getting a refund Nicki Minaj should be ashamed of herself coming on just before 10pm and hour and a half late sings twice and goes off to change with 15 min left before curfew no respect for fans,” one disgruntled attendee posted.

Some fans expressed their frustration at the mishap where Minaj stormed off stage after just five minutes because her DJ played the wrong setlist, calling the incident “shameful & disgraceful.”

While many placed the blame squarely on Minaj, others directed their ire at Ticketmaster or MCD Productions, the promoters of the event. Before the concert, they had optimistically posted: “Enjoy the concert today. Nicki Minaj’s set is due to start at 8.20pm. The licensed curfew is 10:30pm. Please use public transport if possible.”

Given the late start, the frustration from fans is understandable. Minaj has yet to respond to the backlash or comment on the tardiness on her social media platforms.
