Ryan Reynolds has disclosed the unexpected co-star he supposedly had the most arguments with on the set of Deadpool & Wolverine – and it’s not Hugh Jackman.
The new Marvel movie features numerous cameos, increasing the likelihood that some of the stars might have had disagreements during production.
Many might have anticipated that Reynolds would have clashed with Wesley Snipes, who returned to his role as Blade in Deadpool & Wolverine.
Snipes has previously spoken about his so-called animosity towards Reynolds – but he quickly clarified that he was only joking and that there is actually a great deal of affection between the two actors.
So, if Snipes wasn’t the one Reynolds argued with on set, who was it? The answer is something many parents will understand.
On Instagram, on Thursday (1 August), the 47-year-old actor revealed that his most challenging co-star was actually Kidpool.
Following the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, it was confirmed that the young foul-mouthed star is Reynolds’ seven-year-old daughter Inez, whom he shares with Blake Lively.
Sharing a photo of them on set together, the father-of-four wrote: “Only costar I argued with. Most people think Kidpool is the dirtiest. But she’s also pretty good at backtalk and never taking out the trash.”
Inez is not the only one of Reynolds and Lively’s children to appear in Deadpool & Wolverine; their adorable one-year-old son Olin has a role as Babypool too.
Their eldest daughter, James, also features in the movie. According to the credits, the nine-year-old plays the part of ‘screaming mutant’.
Additionally, their youngest daughter Betty, aged four, is credited as ‘Hugh Jackman Wrangler’.
Reynolds mentioned that Betty has a lot of affection for his co-star and good friend Jackman.
“My four-year-old Betty sort of loves Hugh, like unconditionally,” he recently told PEOPLE.
“She expresses that love through unblinking violence. So she attacks him, thinking she has claws and he has a healing factor — which he might.”
Adorable.
Reynolds typically keeps details about his family life with Lively private and has only recently revealed the name of their youngest child.
At the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere last month, Reynolds thanked his wife and children for being there.
“I want to start by saying thank you to my wife Blake, who is here,” he began. “I want to thank my kids James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here.”
