Things are becoming increasingly tense between Offset and Cardi B.
The music icons tied the knot in 2017 and have since added three children to their family.
However, prior to the birth of their youngest child, Cardi B, known for her hit song ‘WAP’, publicly stated that she and Offset from Migos were heading for a divorce.
Initially, the separation was described as ‘amicable’, with sources indicating that it wasn’t due to any infidelities.
“They’ve grown apart,” an insider told Page Six at the time.
“That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else. This is something she wants to do.”
Despite the initial ‘amicable’ nature, the situation has since escalated.
During an Instagram Live session on September 25, Cardi appeared to reference Offset while talking about someone threatening to take ‘sh*t that she worked her ass off for’.
She continued: “You wanna’ play those games with me? We gon’ play those games too. Since you wanna’ threaten me and talk about taking my sh*t.”
Cardi suggested that these threats were a result of her ‘moving on’.
As the livestream unfolded, Offset, 32, made a shocking claim.
He wrote: “U f***ked with a baby inside tell the truth !!”
Following the video, Cardi tweeted ‘AND DID !!!!!!’ – though it remains unclear if this tweet was related to Offset’s allegation.
Cardi’s representatives have been contacted for a statement.
The announcement of Cardi and Offset’s divorce came before the ‘Bodak Yellow’ singer revealed her pregnancy.
In the wake of the breakup news, Cardi posted photos on Instagram showcasing her growing baby bump.
“With every ending comes a new beginning,” the 31-year-old began in her post.
“I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!”
Cardi further expressed: “I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
The couple has since welcomed another daughter, whose name has not yet been disclosed.
Offset and Cardi are also parents to their six-year-old daughter Kulture and two-year-old son Wave.
