The Joker sequel has left audiences stunned due to a particular scene that some say ‘ruined the movie’.
Released earlier this month, “Joker: Folie à Deux” follows up the 2019 Joker film.
Despite high expectations, the sequel has disappointed many viewers.
The film has a low 33 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes, and some moviegoers have even exited cinemas partway through, citing dissatisfaction.

Not all feedback has been negative, as a five-star review noted: “It’s probably not for everybody. Those who have depth and have the ability to lose themselves in the story will love it. The acting was phenomenal.”

Near the end of the film, viewers were taken aback by a controversial scene.
It involves Arthur Fleck taunting Arkham’s guards, leading to a violent retaliation.
While the scene doesn’t show anything explicitly, it suggests that the guards may have sexually assaulted him after wiping off his makeup.
There is significant debate online about whether Arthur was sexually assaulted or merely beaten.

One tweet read: “The Joker gets gang raped by prison guards in Joker 2. Very glad I will never watch this movie fully. They ruined the first movie’s legacy because people resonated with it.”
