Elon Musk reacts to man’s creation of a fully operational Cybertruck replica made from wood for $15,000

Elon Musk recently responded with a succinct three-word message to an automotive enthusiast who crafted a fully functional Cybertruck replica out of wood. The unique creation has garnered praise from social media users, who describe it as ‘superb’.

The Tesla Cybertruck, which started reaching customers in November of last year, has continuously made headlines.

From incidents like catching fire post-collision with a fire hydrant to numerous recalls due to significant defects and even a transformation into a monster truck, the Cybertruck stories have been abundant.

One noteworthy project that emerged earlier this year involved a YouTube channel chronicling the build of a wooden Cybertruck.

ND-WoodArt, known for crafting wooden models of sports cars, motorbikes, and even tanks, spearheaded this timber vehicle venture.

The wooden Cybertruck was a $15,000 endeavor, requiring 100 days of intensive labor to complete.

Upon finishing this impressive project, ND Wood-Art shared a video unveiling the vehicle and followed up with an open letter to Elon Musk on X.

In the post, the YouTuber expressed: “I am a passionate content creator with a deep love for wooden vehicles and a tremendous admiration for both you and Tesla. Over the years, I’ve embarked on several wooden car projects to gain valuable experience.

“And today I launched a car that I am very impressed with, the Cybertruck. It is also the car that many of my audiences love and want me to build.”

The message continued: “I am aware that Tesla has faced its share of challenges in bringing the Cybertruck to fruition.

“However, I maintain unwavering faith in your vision and the capabilities of Tesla. I am confident that this extraordinary vehicle will ultimately succeed.”

Elon Musk, aged 53, responded to the well-crafted request for a repost with: “Sure, much appreciated.”

The inventive work drew admiration from numerous fans on social media.

One fan commented: “That result is bad-ass. This has to be one of the best looking Cybertruck to ever hit the roads and I’d love for it to be prominently featured at Tesla’s HQ”.

Another shared: “Cant start to think about the insane amount of measurements that went into this project… This is sooo cool to watch and nothing short of superb.”

A third person noted: “If you sold this thing as an entire puzzle, I would buy it. You guys make it look easy to build.”

In agreement, another user remarked: “As a mechanical engineer, I have to say I’m impressed he got the pieces to fit together so beautifully,” commenting on the craftsmanship.

“I respect the insane amount of work he put into functional dimensioning to make that look easy.”
