In May last year, avid Jenna Ortega fans, now 22, were taken aback when they saw footage of her seemingly smoking a cigarette.

After presumably seeing the viral video of her daughter smoking, Natalie Ortega appeared to address it on social media in a manner fitting that of a concerned mother.
The emergency room nurse shared a meme on her Instagram story, along with 12 other posts, amusing her followers.
The first image shows Gollum from The Lord of the Rings series, setting the tone for what can only be described as a series of informative posts.
The caption humorously states: “Don’t believe those lies about cigarettes being bad for you. I’ve been smoking for most my 21 years and I feel great!”
The meme featuring the former Stoor Hobbit is followed by more posts highlighting the negative health impacts of smoking and how the odor is ‘repulsive’.
The second to last post by Ortega’s mom includes a quote by Toan Lam: “NO MATTER who you are and how big you get, always SURROUND YOURSELF with people who will tell you the TRUTH.”
The final post reads: “A mother is always a mother. She never stops worrying about her children, even when they are all grown up and have children of their own.”
Regarding the alleged ‘passive aggressive’ nature of the posts, a Reddit user commented: “This is the most mom thing ever hahaha.”
