If you’re considering purchasing a Cybertruck, you might want to brush up on your parking skills.
Tesla’s much-awaited truck hit the market last year, and since its release, numerous owners have faced challenges with the distinctive electric vehicle.
In fact, in the past 12 months, Cybertrucks have faced five recalls, with the latest being announced recently.
According to Forbes, nearly 30,000 vehicles are being recalled due to a software glitch that could interfere with the rearview camera’s ability to display images.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that more than four million Tesla trucks have been recalled in 2024.
Despite some complaints, one owner is quite fond of his Cybertruck and shared a surprising ‘life hack’ about the vehicle on Twitter.
Paul Clark acquired one of these sought-after vehicles last year and has been actively sharing photos of his truck on social media, indicating his continued satisfaction with the purchase.
As a Tesla enthusiast, Paul also owns a Model Y.
Shortly after acquiring his Cybertruck, Paul discovered an unexpected and ‘cool’ feature: the ability to stand on the vehicle without any issues.
“One of the cool things about the Cybertruck is that I don’t have to use a ladder in my garage anymore to get to my upper garage storage,” he mentioned at the time.
Paul then turned his camera to show his perspective as he stood on his Cybertruck.
However, it wasn’t the ‘life hack’ itself that captured attention, but rather the narrow space in which he managed to park his truck.
For those unfamiliar with the Cybertruck’s dimensions, the electric vehicle is quite large, measuring over 19 feet in length, 6.8 feet in width, and over 6 feet in height.
If you’re looking for an example of the challenges of parking a vehicle of that size, a viral video of Pharrell attempting to parallel park serves as an ideal illustration.
Considering the difficulty Paul must have faced in parking the truck in his garage, one person commented on Twitter: “There is no way in hell I’d ever attempt this. My anxiety has been triggered from this pic.”
Another user wondered if he had to ‘climb out through the air vents’ due to the tight fit.
Personally, I doubt my vehicle would remain as immaculate as Paul’s if I had to park in such a confined space…
