Lizzo flaunts Halloween costume with epic comeback to harsh South Park episode about her

Lizzo decided to have the last laugh with an impressive Halloween costume following a South Park episode that mocked her.

The ‘Good As Hell’ artist showcased her costume on Instagram, months after encountering her name in an episode from the animated series that aired in May.

While Lizzo initially addressed the episode at the time, her Halloween costume demonstrated her ability to think strategically and humorously respond over time.

Take a look below:

Lizzo’s costume featured an oversized prescription box, cinched with a measuring tape at the waist. Adorned with black sparkly letters spelling ‘Lizzo’, fans of the South Park episode would recognize the reference was not to the singer herself.

The text instead alluded to a fictional weight-loss medication created by the South Park writers for their episode titled South Park: The End of Obesity, often referred to as the ‘Ozempic episode’.

This episode was influenced by the growing use of drugs like Ozempic, which are primarily for managing type two diabetes but have been repurposed by some for weight loss.

Instead of featuring characters on Ozempic, the show invented a ‘new drug’ called ‘Lizzo’.

An imaginary ad for Lizzo touted it as a ‘once-weekly diet suppressor’.

“70 percent of patients on Lizzo no longer care about how much they weigh,” the ad claimed, adding that the Lizzo drug allowed users to ‘eat everything’ they want and ‘keep physical activity to a minimum’.

“Some patients report constipation while listening to Lizzo,” it continued. “Stop listening to Lizzo if you experience suicidal thoughts. Serious side effects include pancreatitis, hypothermia [and] sh**ting out your ears.”

While not the most flattering reference, Lizzo is clearly handling the satire with grace.

She initially reacted with a video remarking, “I really showed the world how to love yourself and not give a f**k to a point where these men in Colorado know who the f**k I am and put it on their cartoon that’s been around for 25 years.”

Lizzo’s Halloween attire allowed her to further embrace her carefree attitude towards the South Park mention, as her video featured her grooving along to the jingle while the spoof weight-loss drug’s details played in the background.

The video concluded with Lizzo giving two middle fingers, earning her applause from fans for her comeback.

“Now that’s a clap back,” one fan noted, while another stated: “you win”.

In another segment, Lizzo was seen dancing in her costume alongside South Park’s Eric Cartman.
