Young Boy, Believed to be the ‘World’s Youngest Serial Killer,’ Made Eerie Request After Capture

Warning: This article contains discussion of child death which some readers may find distressing.

A child labeled as the ‘world’s youngest serial killer’ made a peculiar request to authorities upon being detained and interrogated for multiple homicides.

The allegations concerning Amarjeet Sada surfaced in 2007 when a mother from the village of Mushahar in Bihar, India, reported the disappearance of her six-month-old daughter.

Tragically, the infant was soon discovered deceased.

The situation took a more sinister turn when it was revealed that Sada had allegedly confessed to locals about strangling the child, even leading them to her remains.

Sada reportedly admitted to other appalling acts, claiming he had also killed his own eight-month-old sister and a six-year-old cousin.

At the time, Sada was himself only eight years old. According to Yahoo! Entertainment, his parents allegedly attempted to shield him from law enforcement after the first two incidents, which they supposedly knew about.

However, following his admissions regarding the third death, the police took him into custody, with NDTV releasing images of the young boy at a police station.

The case captured the attention of true crime podcaster Stephanie Soo, who recounted the occurrences following Sada’s detention.

Soo explained to her audience: “When the police are sitting across from a serial killer in the interrogation room, it is not uncommon for serial killers to ask for things from the police. They say, ‘oh, before I start talking, before I confess to the crime, so these families can get closure, maybe I can get a cigarette’.”

“A lot of them like to ask for these things because it makes them feel powerful.”

Despite his age, Sada allegedly followed this pattern, requesting something quite simple: tea and biscuits.

While not a cigarette, the simplicity of his request contrasted sharply with the violent nature of the alleged crimes, making it difficult to comprehend how he could think of a treat while under arrest for murder.

After being granted his request, Sada provided further details about the six-month-old’s death, stating: “She was sleeping in the school. I took her a little away, and killed her with a stone and buried her.”

“I took her away and I killed her with a brick,” he continued, according to Soo. “I actually didn’t feel that much excitement when I tried strangling her, because she wasn’t fighting back. So that’s why I chose the brick.”

The police suspected Sada suffered from ‘psychiatric disorders’, and due to his age, he was placed in a remand home in the nearby town of Munger.

Reports indicate that Sada was released at 16 to begin life under a new identity.
