Mike Tyson’s display in bout with Jake Paul has everyone noticing the same thing

Following last night’s event, there has been a significant buzz around Mike Tyson’s performance.

Tyson went head-to-head with Jake Paul, a YouTuber turned boxer, on November 15, marking his return to the ring after retiring.

This much-anticipated boxing match had been planned for some time and was originally set for July. However, due to some health challenges Tyson faced, the fight was postponed.

At first, there were concerns that the match might not happen at all, but it was soon rescheduled for a later date, allowing Tyson the necessary time to recuperate and train.

Despite the delay for his benefit, the 58-year-old former champion was ultimately defeated by Paul.

Though he was not knocked out, the younger boxer secured his victory on points.

By the end of the bout, Paul had landed 78 punches, compared to Tyson’s 18.

With a significant age difference of 31 years between them, many have been praising Tyson on social media, despite the outcome.

One Twitter user expressed admiration: “Mike took the 8 rounds like a champion, he’s 58 years old.”

Another commented: “Mike Tyson still had it in him and He’s 58! Bro went 8 rounds.”

Praising Tyson’s enduring legacy, a fan declared: “You all can say you wasted your time, I didn’t. That’s Iron Mike Tyson.

“You got to see him box. He’s 58 years old. He made you believe he could do it. He didn’t go down. Dude is an actual living legend.”

Some have argued that Paul would not have been able to compete with Tyson during his prime years.

“Shout out to @MikeTyson,” remarked one individual. “He’s 58!! Best to ever do it. Jake Paul couldn’t go 3 rounds with Mike in his prime.”

Another stated that the 27-year-old internet sensation ‘would be destroyed’ by a younger Tyson.

Despite the loss, Tyson has made it clear that he has no intention of stepping away from boxing permanently.

When asked about his future in the sport, he responded: “I don’t know. It depends on the situation. I don’t think so.”

Tyson elaborated, saying: “I didn’t prove nothing to anyone, just myself.”

“I’m not one of these guys who goes out to please the world, I’m just happy with what I can do.”

Even with the defeat, Tyson is anticipated to earn a substantial $20 million from the fight.
