A TikTok creator shared how he impacted Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s life during an interview with the renowned wrestler turned actor.
Speedy Morman, the interviewer, seemingly threw Johnson into a moment of deep reflection by posing a straightforward yet significant question.
In a TikTok video titled ‘I changed The Rock’s life’, Speedy recounted his experience interviewing Johnson a few weeks prior. During his preparation for the interview, he pondered whether the actor really enjoyed life, given his constant work commitments.
Speedy began questioning whether Johnson was genuinely happy and decided to address it directly.
A segment from the interview shows Speedy candidly telling The Rock: “You, if I’m honest, don’t seem like you have a lot of fun.”
Though Johnson laughed off the comment initially, Speedy persisted: “Do you have fun? Do you enjoy this?”
Johnson praised the question, expressing how much he ‘loved’ it, and admitted he needed to ‘reflect’ on the query after inquiring what Speedy meant by fun.
Speedy later revealed that Johnson mentioned their conversation in a subsequent interview, describing it as one of his ‘favorite interviews ever’.
The Rock shared: “I went home and I was talking to my family about that and I was like, it made me think, I should have more fun.”
Subsequently, on Monday (December 2), Johnson took to Instagram to share he was doing something he hadn’t done ‘in easily over a year’.
“Putting my feet up, relaxing. We all work hard and we should enjoy and put our feet up and I know a lot of you guys do it well,” Johnson noted. “I need to do a better job at it. I need to do a better job at just stopping and enjoying the hard work. I’m on my way, step one.”
Speedy responded to the post: “Finally. Happy for u bro, stay awhile.”
The Rock replied: “@speedymorman you were the one who motivated me to do this, brother.”
He also sent the interviewer a heartfelt voice message. *Silent tear*
The interaction quickly drew attention from social media users.

One TikTok user commented: “You sent the rock into an existential crisis lol.”
“Bro smelled what The Rock was cooking, and told him he’s missing an ingredient,” another said.
A third expressed: “Imagine being asked a million different questions but never being asked, ‘You okay, bro?'”
Lastly, someone concluded: “Making someone self reflect is true journalism indeed.”
