Natalie Portman has given birth to her third child.
The Oscar-winning actress, 44, welcomed the baby with boyfriend Tanguy Destable, 46, according to a source who spoke. The infant marks the couple’s first together since they began dating in early 2025.

Portman went public with her pregnancy the following year, keeping the relationship largely private before that point. She spoke to Harper’s Bazaar in April about the experience of expanding her family again, calling it both a “privilege” and a “miracle.”
“Tanguy and I are very excited,” she gushed to the outlet, adding that it was “probably [her] last time” conceiving.

The “Black Swan” star elaborated on how this pregnancy differed from her previous ones. “There’s a calm [this time] and knowing myself: who I want to spend time with, what kind of energy I want around me,” Portman explained. “That makes the experience so beautiful every day.”

She debuted her baby bump publicly that same day while out in Paris, where she has resided since 2014. That move across the Atlantic came during her marriage to French choreographer Benjamin Millepied, whom she wed in August 2012 in Big Sur, California.
Their son Aleph, then just 1 year old, attended the ceremony. Daughter Amalia followed in February 2017 and is now 9.

Portman and Millepied’s marriage ended in 2023 following allegations of his affair with climate activist Camille Étienne. The actress quietly filed for divorce, and the split was finalized in February 2024.
The timeline of Portman’s new romance remains somewhat unclear, though she and Destable were first photographed together in March 2025. The musician, who performs under the name Tepr, had previously been in a relationship with actress Louise Bourgoin. That union produced two sons, Étienne and Vadim, born in 2016 and 2020 respectively.

Destable’s background in music and his own experience as a father of two made him a familiar figure in French creative circles before his relationship with Portman began. The pair have maintained a low profile throughout their time together, with the pregnancy announcement representing their most public moment as a couple.

Portman’s two older children have continued to split time between their parents under the co-parenting arrangement established after the divorce. The family has remained based in Paris even as Portman’s career keeps her connected to Hollywood projects.

The new arrival makes three children for Portman and brings Destable’s total to three as well, blending their respective families. Neither has yet shared details about the baby’s name or exact birth date.
Portman first rose to prominence as a child star in “Léon: The Professional” before winning the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in “Black Swan” in 2011. She has since balanced major film projects with her family life, increasingly prioritizing the latter in recent years.
