Jennifer Lopez recently shared some intimate details about her preferences in the bedroom during a live performance. At the age of nearly 56, she is reportedly channeling “scorned woman energy” in her latest album, which is thought to reflect her turbulent separation from Affleck.
For those not in the loop, “Bennifer” dates back to 2002 when Lopez and Affleck became Hollywood’s “It” couple, swiftly announcing their engagement. Unfortunately, they never made it to the altar, parting ways two years later.
Lopez later married Marc Anthony, who is the father of her twins, Emme and Max, now 17. Their marriage ended in 2011. Meanwhile, Affleck found love with his Daredevil co-star, Jennifer Garner, marrying her in 2005. They share three children: Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Samuel, 13, but eventually divorced after ten years together.
In 2021, the flames reignited between Affleck and Lopez, leading them to marry twice, once in Las Vegas and again in Georgia. However, Lopez filed for divorce on their second anniversary.
Currently, it seems Lopez isn’t holding back on expressing her feelings about the situation, making some apparent jabs at her former spouse.
During her performance in Pontevedra, Spain, while on her European tour, Lopez introduced her latest record, “Wreckage of You,” hinting at “breaking free” from an unhappy relationship without naming names.
Later, while performing at the Lucca Summer Festival in Italy, Lopez discussed her new track, “Up All Night,” and shared some candid thoughts about her sex life as a single woman.
She candidly told the audience: “I have to be honest with you, sometimes I get in different moods at night. I don’t know about you but I do, and sometimes I like it hard.
“Other days, I am feeling a little romantic. You put on candles and soft music. On those days, I like it real slow,” she added. “But there’s other days . . . maybe because it’s a new kind of time for me, maybe because it’s summertime and it’s hot outside, I feel a little more naughty.”
Amused by the audience’s reaction, she continued: “You ever get that feeling?
“Where you feel like being naughty? On those days, I like it real fast.”
According to The Sun, her latest work is said to be “inspired by what she went through during her relationship with Ben.” A source revealed, “Wreckage Of You was so specifically about Ben, and Up All Night points to where Jennifer is at in her life right now. This is a whole new era for Jennifer and she isn’t going to be holding back.”
Affleck has remained largely quiet about the situation, only commenting in March, referring to the breakup as “embarrassing.” Meanwhile, Lopez has removed any love songs from her tour, opting instead for what she describes as “anti-love songs.”
“I wanted to do the songs that were like, ‘Get out of here! I hate you!’,” she remarked. “I’m just kidding. No, I’m not…”
