Fans of The Offspring felt ‘heartbroken’ after attending the Tinley Park concert, as several of the band’s ‘biggest hits’ were not included in the set list.
For those who missed it, the rock band from California performed in Illinois on Saturday, August 16, as a part of their Supercharged Worldwide in ’25 Tour.
However, attendees expressed dissatisfaction, stating that they ‘didn’t get what they paid for.’ One fan took to Reddit to share a screenshot of the set list, which included three cover songs, revealing the source of their disappointment.
“The Offspring will forever be my favorite band but the guys have GOT to change up their set lists a bit,” a fan commented. “How many years now have they been opening with Come Out and Play? Obviously play the songs people wanna hear, but make the order they’re played different.”
Another fan voiced their agreement, stating: “Doing covers instead of some of your biggest hits is actually crazy work. I don’t care if the covers were short, at the very least they could’ve done one of those skipped songs in their place.”
A third fan added, “SEVEN songs skipped?! Man, I’d be livid.”
CBS News reported that heavy rainfall at the venue delayed the start of the show. Although the concert proceeded as scheduled, New Found Glory, the opening act, did not perform, and The Offspring’s set list was shortened due to an 11pm curfew.
