Drake addresses viral 6-pack selfie controversy following photoshop accusations

Drake has recently admitted to enhancing his six-pack appearance in a selfie that gained significant attention online.

In June, the rapper shared an Instagram post showcasing his impressive abdominal muscles. However, this only fueled speculation that he might have undergone surgical procedures to achieve such definition.

The post was accompanied by the caption: “I’m wide awake for the nights that separate the type who get to it til they get it right from the type who just …type.”

Months after the post, some have humorously referred to him as ‘BBL Drizzy,’ hinting at rumors of a possible Brazilian butt lift. The Take Care artist has now addressed claims about editing the image.

During his appearance on the Not This Again with Bobbi Althoff podcast, the 38-year-old artist mentioned that his son boasts an ‘eight-pack.’ Previously, a photo of his seven-year-old son, Adonis Graham, with his shirt lifted and the word ‘shredder’ written on it, appeared on his Instagram Story.

“Shout out to my son, what a good guy. He’s working out crazy, he has an eight-pack. He has an eight-pack pack, that’s crazy,” Drake stated.

“He’s just like way more locked in than, like, I ever was or ever will be.”

Podcast host Bobbi Althoff humorously noted: “So he doesn’t have to photoshop his body like you?”

The conversation continued, with Althoff inquiring about Drake’s workout routine, saying: “Why are you acting like that’s not a question everyone has?”

Drake explained: “I think that pic, I think it was just like I came from the gym, I was sweaty in that pic. Maybe I like went on Facetune and put details up, you know when you can just…”

Althoff cut in: “Don’t even admit to that much!”

Drake responded: “Oh sorry, I’m just being honest. Maybe I like heightened the saturation on it or something. I think I like hit it too hard, I hit it too hard. They don’t look like that, you saw them.”

More details to come.
