Pamela Anderson responds to ‘PR stunts’ accusations amid claims of a ‘fake’ Liam Neeson relationship

Pamela Anderson has addressed the concept of ‘PR stunts’ following claims that her rumored relationship with Liam Neeson is fabricated.

In July, Neeson and Anderson drew significant attention during the promotional tour for their new film, The Naked Gun, in which they portray romantic leads, Frank Drebin Jr and Beth Davenport.

The duo had been openly expressing admiration for one another, with Neeson having stated he was ‘madly in love’ with Anderson. Their affectionate displays on the red carpet further fueled speculation about a possible off-screen romance. Some fans speculated there might be genuine feelings involved, while others suspected it was merely a strategy to generate buzz for The Naked Gun. Gossip columnist Rob Shuter cited sources who claimed the relationship was purely for ‘business’ purposes.

The actors have previously addressed rumors about their relationship, though not in a conventional manner.

Amidst ongoing speculation about the authenticity of their romance, Anderson has spoken out against ‘PR stunts’, emphasizing that she would not engage in such tactics.

“I do not and will never feed into PR stunts,” The Last Showgirl star remarked at the Deauville American Film Festival. “That would be a death sentence. I’m authentically driven. I’m superstitious when it comes to love. And I’m not comfortable sharing any shred of my romantic life.”

She continued, “I know I’ll fall in love again and again on screen. That is my job. If we do it well, you will feel it, a kind of projection. It is the greatest compliment.”

“So please think positive. And I appreciate your good wishes. There are no silly games being played. I’m sincere.”

She further emphasized: “Do not mistake my kindness for weakness or my boldness for bitterness. I’m here on this journey, not for money or for fame, but to see what I’m made of in truth, hard work, and to leave behind an honest legacy my family can be proud of.”

Despite recent rumors, a source has affirmed that the interaction between Anderson and the Taken star is authentic.

“Everything between Liam and Pam has been genuine and neither of them would ever take part in a publicity stunt like that,” they noted, adding: “It’s so absurd, neither of them needs that publicity.”

The insider also stated that claims suggesting their relationship is merely for promotion are ‘not correct at all’.

Representatives for Anderson and Neeson have been previously contacted for comments on the matter.
