Kathy Griffin, known for her role in “Pulp Fiction,” has shared the hefty cost of her third facelift, acknowledging it wasn’t exactly affordable.
The 65-year-old comedian disclosed the price of her recent cosmetic procedure during an episode of the “Good Guys” podcast, hosted by Josh Peck and Ben Soffer. Griffin discussed the facelift, a procedure for tightening facial skin, after previously surprising fans with her swollen lips from a different enhancement. In the interview, she revealed the detail everyone was curious about – the cost.
Griffin remarked that certain surgeons, for instance, Dr. Steven Levine from New York City, who is well-known for Kris Jenner’s facelift, can charge extraordinarily high fees for their services. However, she expressed her reluctance to spend “upwards of a million.”
“I’m just such a money person. I can’t bring myself to do it,” Griffin remarked.
She elaborated, “I went to Kris Jenner’s last guy. Not the million ponytail […] where they pull your whole face up as if you are putting yourself in a high ponytail […] that’s what Kris got. But I went to her last guy.”
The comedian then disclosed her facelift’s exact cost, confirming its steep price.
“It was not cheap..you ready? $218,000,” Griffin stated, adding humorously, “Do you know how many d*** jokes I have to tell for $218,000.”
This revelation follows Griffin’s previous admission of being ‘vain’ during an August episode of her “Talk Your Head Off” podcast.
Reflecting on her past surgeries, she noted, “It’s my third. I know I’m so vain for no reason. No one has ever gone to a Kathy Griffin show to see her beautiful, youthful face.”
Griffin has been open about her cosmetic procedures over recent years, including a notable incident in 2023 involving a lip tattoo that triggered an allergic reaction.
“I’m going to get my eyebrows micro-bladed more because I didn’t do enough the last time, and I’m getting my lips tattooed, but they call it blushing. We’ll see,” she shared in a YouTube video.
Additionally, Griffin has candidly listed other enhancements, such as an ‘upper eye job,’ which includes a ‘cat eye stitch’ designed to lift the eyes at the corners.
