Warning: This article discusses suicide, which may be upsetting for some readers.
Social media influencer Tucker Genal has sadly passed away at the age of 31. His family members have shared emotional tributes describing him as their ‘best friend and an even better big brother’.
The popular TikToker, famous for his humorous content and viral challenges, was discovered deceased at his residence in California on Thursday, December 11. The Los Angeles Medical Examiner has classified his death as a suicide.
Genal, who had amassed 2.6 million followers, frequently collaborated with his brothers Carson and Connor on TikTok. They expressed their sentiments in a poignant message on Instagram: “My entire life I’ve spent looking up to you and trying to follow in your footsteps because you were always my hero.”

The message continued: “I know one thing is for certain and that is that I will continue to spend the rest of my life looking up to you until we meet again.”
Further expressing their grief, they added: “You were the kindest person I’ve ever met and the greatest brother that anyone could have ever asked for. We love you and will miss you eternally Tucker.”
They concluded with a request for privacy to mourn during this challenging time.
Just last week, Genal’s final TikTok post featured images from 2025, many of which included his brothers. The caption reflected a yearning for cherished moments: “Wish I could relive some of these moments twice. Here’s a photo from every month this past year.”

Messages of sympathy and support have been arriving from fellow content creators and Genal’s followers. Among them is TikTok star Adam Schutt, who had appeared with Genal in a recent Christmas-themed Instagram post.
Schutt shared: “Tucker, You gave me my motivation you brought a light in me that I never even knew I had. You are the kindest most selfless person I knew. You always put others before yourself and you always knew how to care when no one else did.”
He added: “I don’t know where I would have been without you man. You gave me life. You showed me how beautiful life can be. I’m so blessed to have had you in my life.”
Expressing his gratitude, he continued: “I will cherish ever moment and memory we shared together. Thank you for always being there for me when I didn’t know where to go.”
Fans also paid their respects online, with one commenting: “I didn’t know you personally. I would sit up at night and watch you and your brother’s eating vids. It helped me when I was going through a lot of pain mentally. Thank you for helping me get through a difficult time.”
Another wrote: “This is heartbreaking. We’re praying for you guys.”
