Alix Earle, 25, is taking her feud with Alex Cooper, 32, to television.
The influencer spoke out Tuesday night at the Los Angeles premiere of her Netflix reality series “Earle Meets World,” where she threw pointed shade at Cooper’s recently canceled dating show while promising to finally address their falling-out on camera. “I’m happy that I said my piece and whatever,” Earle told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet. “But I’m happier just to focus on the premiere and having the show out there. And, you know, hers are getting canceled, so it is what it is.”
The remark lands as Disney pulls the plug on “Love Overboard,” the Unwell Productions dating series Cooper executive produced. Insiders said earlier this week that the show “wasn’t finding its audience” after its nine-episode first season dropped in March. The series followed 22 singles seeking romance aboard a yacht. Cooper remains in development on other projects with Disney despite the cancellation.
Earle’s Netflix series, which premieres Friday, marks her first opportunity to speak at length about the rift that ended her two-year working relationship with Cooper’s Unwell Network. During a preview of “Earle Meets World,” Earle reportedly described her departure from the company as a “betrayal” and explained that she felt taken advantage of during her time there.
The fracture between the two podcast personalities burst into public view when Cooper called out Earle’s social media behavior in a direct Instagram message. “Just say it yourself,” she wrote. “Because I’m really tired of waking up and seeing you using this fake drama to distract from other s–t going on.”
Cooper continued pressing for direct confrontation rather than coded posts. “I know what happened and so do you, so talk,” she shared. “Unless the fake narrative that you’re creating happens to be way more interesting than the truth.”
The “Call Her Daddy” host added that she had “nothing to hide” and noted that Earle had not signed a non-disclosure agreement when she exited the network, removing any contractual barrier to speaking freely. Earle responded publicly to the message by commenting, “OK on it!!”
Despite that pledge, Earle has largely continued teasing the conflict through social media posts rather than offering a full account. Her forthcoming reality series appears poised to change that approach, with cameras capturing her perspective on the professional split.
Cooper launched the Unwell Network in 2023 as an extension of her podcasting empire, bringing Earle’s “Hot Mess” under the umbrella alongside other creator-led shows. The arrangement soured in 2025, when Earle and her podcast were dropped from the lineup without detailed public explanation from either party at the time.
A representative for Cooper was not immediately available to the outlet for comment following Earle’s remarks at the premiere.
