Meghan Trainor’s husband has commented on the recent celebrity mom group controversy.
The situation started when High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale wrote a provocative essay for The Cut, titled ‘Breaking Up With My Toxic Mom Group’.
In her piece, Tisdale discussed feeling ‘frozen out’ from a mom group she joined after having her first child, detailing moments where she felt ‘excluded’ from group events.
The 40-year-old wrote: “At first, I tried not to take things personally. It’s not like people aren’t allowed to get together without me — and maybe there were perfectly good reasons that I hadn’t been invited. We were all busy, life was hectic. I told myself it was all in my head and it wasn’t a big deal.”
Eventually, she decided to leave the group because she believed the dynamic had ‘stopped being positive’.

Although Tisdale did not mention any names, online sleuths discovered that Tisdale was part of a group of celebrity moms, which allegedly included Hilary Duff, Meghan Trainor, and Mandy Moore.
However, a statement from Tisdale’s representatives refuted this, declaring that ‘there’s zero truth to what online “detectives” think they’ve cracked’ and that she was actually referring to a ‘completely different group of friends’.
Following the essay’s widespread attention, Duff’s husband Matthew Koma seemingly took a jab at Tisdale’s piece for The Cut, and Trainor addressed the situation on TikTok.
Now, Trainor’s husband has shared his thoughts on the matter.
Daryl Sabara, known for his role in the Spy Kids series, was asked by TMZ on January 8 about the controversy. He responded: “No drama over here, just trying to keep the kids happy.”

He also mentioned he doesn’t ‘really know what’s going on’, but added that he hoped Tisdale is ‘OK, though’.
In contrast, Koma shared an Instagram post resembling the essay’s cover, which read: “When You’re The Most Self Obsessed Tone Deaf Person On Earth, Other Moms Tend To Shift Focus To Their Actual Toddlers.”
Moore later praised Koma after he posted a clip of her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, performing at the Concert for Altadena benefit, on his Instagram Stories and tagged her in it.
LADbible Group has previously reached out to representatives for Tisdale, Duff, Moore, and Trainor for comment.
