Fans believe Nicola Peltz’s new tattoo is a subtle message to Beckham family

Amid the ongoing controversy stirred by Brooklyn Beckham’s revealing essay, some observers have noted what appears to be a discreet jab from his wife, Nicola Peltz-Beckham.

Brooklyn has publicly acknowledged his strained relationship with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. Meanwhile, keen followers have noticed a hidden message in a new tattoo Nicola showcased in a recent Instagram post.

The mirror selfie was shared shortly before Brooklyn, 26, made a bold public statement against the Beckham family, claiming that he and Nicola had endured ‘endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly’.

Nicola, 31, is seen in the photo wearing a blue bralet, displaying a subtle script tattoo on her ribcage. According to PageSix, the tattoo is in Yiddish and reads ‘family first’.

Celebrity analysts have been quick to interpret the tattoo’s significance, noting that Nicola shares it with her brother Will Peltz. One commentator described the post as a ‘victory lap’ following Brooklyn’s revealing essay.

They remarked: “Her husband has just criticized his family online, and she posts this image showing her tattoo, which means ‘Family First’ in Yiddish. This is her victory lap. Quite vindictive. She might as well hold up a banner saying ‘I won.’”

Whether the Lola actor intended the tattoo as a message to her in-laws remains uncertain, but Brooklyn’s essay makes it apparent that the familial discord is far from resolved.

In his writing, he expressed his unwillingness to reconcile with his parents, citing various grievances related to his 2022 wedding with Nicola, such as Victoria’s alleged last-minute withdrawal from designing a dress.

The eldest Beckham son also claimed that his mother behaved inappropriately during a significant moment at their star-studded wedding.

Since then, negative press exchanges have escalated tensions across the Atlantic, prompting Nicola to remove all mentions of her in-laws from her social media accounts.

However, anonymous insiders familiar with the family dynamics suggest that while Brooklyn has distanced himself from the Beckham family, he might eventually be persuaded to reconnect.

An insider informed the Mail on Sunday: “Brooklyn wants to do anything to make Nicola happy, but this is all getting out of control. I can’t imagine a world where Brooklyn wouldn’t want to see his parents again.”

They further commented: “It is clear that Brooklyn is very keen to please Nicola, but maybe, just maybe, he will at some point want to get back in touch with his parents.

“Nothing would make them happier.”
