A$AP Rocky has spoken candidly about his parenting style after the arrival of his third child with longtime partner Rihanna last year.
The rapper and the Fenty Beauty mogul welcomed a daughter on September 13, naming her Rocki Irish Mayers.
Rocki joins her two older brothers: three-year-old RZA and Riot, who is two years old.
Although Rihanna and A$AP are frequently spotted together in public, they tend to keep their relationship private, rarely discussing their personal life.
Last year, A$AP hinted at an update regarding their marital status.
When interviewed by ELLE, he was asked about his habit of calling Rihanna his ‘wife’ and whether they plan to make it official soon.

He playfully responded: “How you know I’m not already a husband?”
A$AP added that even if they were married or engaged, he would not confirm it publicly.
In a recent chat with Popcast‘s Jon Caramanica and Joe Coscarelli following the release of his new album ‘Don’t Be Dumb’, A$AP discussed his three children with Rihanna and their parenting approach.
When asked about the dynamics of ‘good cop versus bad cop’ and their approach to discipline, he said:
“None of us have to be [strict],” he responded. “We are cool-ass parents.”
A$AP mentioned that he believes he has become the father he envisioned before welcoming RZA, Riot, and Rocki.
He also talked about the distinct personalities of his children.
“You know, my first son, RZA, he’s just really like, he’s [the] opposite of his brother,” A$AP revealed. “They’re about 14 months apart. So, they’re really close, but he’s really antisocial.”
Speaking about Riot, he said: “My second son is just a socialite at this point, you know? He wants to steal the room when he comes, and he walks in it, and he’s addicted to cotton candy, and he likes… typical little kid stuff.”
Regarding baby Rocki, he remarked that his daughter is his ‘twin’.
“She looks exactly identical to me. My twin, bro,” he proudly stated.
A$AP also mentioned that he always aspired to have children and be a parent, but he was cautious about choosing the right partner for parenthood — and found the ideal match in Rihanna.
