Jennifer Lawrence recently spoke out about the controversy she created with her comments regarding Kourtney Kardashian.
Despite being one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Jennifer Lawrence found herself facing backlash from Kardashian fans.
The incident occurred last November when Lawrence made some candid remarks about Kourtney Kardashian. During a lie detector test with her Die My Love co-star, Robert Pattinson, for Vanity Fair, Lawrence was questioned about the Kardashian family.
Pattinson showed her a picture of Khloe Kardashian, inquiring if she was her favorite Kardashian, given Lawrence’s known admiration for their reality show.
Lawrence remarked: “Kourtney is more annoying than ever. She drives me nuts.
“Because everything has to be an announcement. It’s like, ‘you know I’m not going to wear outfits anymore.’ Like, just wear whatever you want. Don’t make an announcement about it.
“Or like, ‘I don’t have a TV in my room.’ Like, just don’t watch TV. Stop announcing it. Just shhh!”
Some fans agreed with Lawrence at the time, while others criticized her for her remarks about the Kardashian star.
On Amy Poehler’s podcast, Good Hang, Lawrence revisited her comments, acknowledging they were ‘insane’.
Poehler commented: “You are so famous and so real and those two things are not always the case.
Lawrence responded: “I think that when I do press, I should do half than what normal people do because I see my quotes and they are insane.
“Like, Jennifer Lawrence calls Kourtney Kardashian annoying, it is just too, you know, it carries.”
Poehler concurred, noting that Lawrence’s humor and authenticity were remarkable.
The duo continued to engage in a lively discussion on various topics, much to the enjoyment of the podcast’s audience.
